Calypso has built an established, eco-friendly, e-commerce cosmetic range. Founder, Dana Al Shaibani, was looking to take her next move into swimwear as well as expand digitally. We worked with Dana to establish an online digital presence to feature both Calypso Aesthetics and Calypso Swim under the umbrella brand.
WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
We designed and developed the website to be an e-commerce store that featured two separate shops for the swimwear and cosmetic ranges.
However, it was also designed to give space for Calypso to promote their eco-awareness message and fair-practice ethos, a core value of the brands.
Calypso’s identity is elevated throughout by the use of the brand’s typography and colours, allowing Calypso's sustainable narrative and brand identity to be present across the digital experience. The UX was designed to compliment Calypso’s educational and environmental messaging alongside the cosmetic and swimwear ranges.
Calypso Aesthetics' new website showcases the two shops individually; swimwear and aesthetics, as well as consistently promoting the brand's core beliefs of sustainability and giving back to nature.
Crucially, the website is an extension of the brand’s identity which was achieved through a custom design and development.
