By capturing Ayotonde’s mission in a bold new identity and tone of voice Jendaya received investment, allowing them to grow internationally and break into the US markets.

With recent feature in Vogue Business; "Meanwhile, international luxury brands are turning to Jendaya, an African multi-brand retailer exploring a mix of consumer online sales, B2B advisory and editorial content, for guidance on the African market. “We have a healthy B2B pipeline of brands that have reached out to discuss activation or strategy, or doing things with them specifically so they can understand or penetrate the market,” says co-founder Ayotunde Rufai. They include JW Anderson, Kenzo, Missoni and British menswear designer Ozwald Boateng, who recently returned to London Fashion Week after a 12-year break. “We're working on doing something that derives revenue for us as a company, but also derives value for them toward Africa objectives.”"

HYD Studio worked with Jendaya to create a complete brand identity for African-centric start-up to enable them to attract investors.

Jendaya was conceived as a luxury, people-powered e-commerce marketplace, using the social power of community and culture to source diverse designers, curate them online through a seamless content-commerce experience, and ship them globally.
